Seeking a heart of wisdom
The Assembly recently updated the guidelines for continuing education for ministry agents. These guidelines are designed to making planning continuing education simpler and clearer. They invite ministry agents to plan their learning over three areas - academic study, ministry practice skills and spirituality and to consider in depth what you might do this year and plan in outline for future years. Planning your continuing education means you will take some time to think about the challenges you and your placement face in the coming years, what strengths you would like to develop and what gaps you might want to develop. Undertaking continuing education makes adifference not only to the competency and enjoyment of the ministry agent but to the whole placement.
