Taize Brothers’ Visit in September 201

Two brothers from the Taize community will be visiting Victoria from the 8-10 September. The theme for the prayers during their visit is: Joy, compassion and forgiveness. There will be prayer services held in Richmond, Geelong, Mt Macedon and the CBD as well as gatherings at RMIT, Monash and Melbourne Universities.

The visit ends with an all day event at RMIT university, which includes prayers, a Bible study and locally focused workshops, followed by a final service at St Francis’ Church on Lonsdale Street in the CBD.

These events are aimed at the 18-35 age group. If you are over 35, you are very welcome to attend the services, but please bring some 18-35s along with you! This is a fantastic opportunity to experience this beautiful style of worship, meet the Taize brothers and find out more about the Taize community in France.
