We encourage your participation in various study opportunities that fit your needs and education level. But remember we can help you with supervision, coaching and placements within our UCA movement in any field (‘cos we rock)
Join The Dots is a regular space to gather for encouragement, coaching and reflection on your studies and ministry.
Whether it be with theology courses as part of the Melbourne College of Divinity (certificate level through to Doctorate), Praxis training network’s Dip in youth and community work, other Bible colleges/courses, Uni, whatever… contact us!
Overflow is the UCA’s annual training event that is brimming over with inspiration, ideas and resources for your ministry. It is for all people engaged in ministry with children and families or youth and young adults.
Mobile Workshops: UCA Youth have an amazing amount of experience in working with young people and engaging local mission. We will come to you and help you train your people. You just need to provide the coffee!
Call to Discipleship: A day event with a key thinker from the radical discipleship or missional church. Contact Age if you hear of a good person coming to town. (morepraxis.org.au)
School of Discipleship: A discipleship conference run by UCA that focuses on what it is to live the Christian life - to be biblically grounded and theologically informed. Runs in Canberra June each year. (http://schoolofdiscipleship.org.au/)
Surrender. A radical discipleship conference with a focus on edgy local and global mission. March long weekend (www.surrender.org.au, 0403 177 995)
Tear Gathering: A mission conference about aid, discipleship and development. (www.tear.org.au – 9877 7444)
State Youth Games: A sport based camp run by the Church of Christ run over the long weekend in June. Lots of UCA people attend. We run Bible Chats and sacred space with Urban Seed in CafePraxis. Contact us for more info.
